7 December 2010 – BIAS launches Comfort Lifestyle Touchscreen in Cyprus

BIAS have great pleasure in launching the new Comfort KT03 Lifestyle Touchscreen keypad in Cyprus. The keypad has a 4 inch (10 cm) monochrome LCD touchscreen, with a built-in speaker, microphone, and infrared receiver. It can be positioned as a keypad replacement, to be installed in place or in addition to a regular Comfort Home Automation keypad.

The speaker area is covered by a metallic-like grille with hairline finish. The status LEDs showing the familiar Home, Armed, AC/Battery and New Message conditions are seen through a translucent black bezel. The infrared receiver and microphone are also beneath the outer bezel.

The touchscreen can be mounted either horizontally or vertically to suit any décor.

The keypad main page acts just like a normal Comfort security system keypad, but also shows the exit and entry time countdown, and the open zones. The real time state of the security zones can be shown - Open, closed, Trouble (tamper) or Bypassed.

Trouble conditions like AC Failure, Low Battery, Zone Trouble, and Communications Failure are also shown.

The keypad can also be used as an Audio Intercom with the Door station.

Various additional pages can be optionally programmed to meet customer’s requirements and to control anything connected to Comfort including third part products like C-Bus, KNX, Dynalite, Zwave, Velbus, Lutron. The option to view the status of the controlled appliances is also available.
